October 9 2025 – UPDATE –
Camp Hope has been dismantled, and the unhoused have once again been displaced. The Loveland Resource Center is Operating on a 30-Day Permit, and the details about that are being misconstrued to those in need.
The homeless throughout this experience have been harassed, lied to, demeaned and demoralized by authorities. They’ve had their items stolen by police, and the systemic abuses which stretch back well beyond Karen Garner have once again come to light. I’m writing about these unfolding events as quickly as I can. Please Please share.

The unhoused of Loveland are under attack through gross negligence. This community has been silenced, marginalized, and blamed for trying to survive. This matter is more urgent than ANY of the other content on this page.
Currently, the overnight shelter is closed, and the City Manager refuses to talk about solutions, offering only vague future promises. Several council members clearly don’t view this population as human beings who are members of our Loveland community.
Rising rent, and other cost-of-living increases combined with predatory leasing practices and disproportionate earning have forced so many into homelessness despite fighting with all they have.
I know because I’ve been in-and-out of homelessness my entire adult life. Only this year, did I finally find a forever home at the age of 45, and I still know every second of every day how easy it is for the masters to crank up the heat until we can’t sustain it. Then turn around and blame us for it.
